Event Description

Come enjoy the summer bounty and the open house experience at Cloud Mountain Farm Center. Walk through the orchards and fields, taste a variety of fruits and vegetables, and learn about the many programs going on at Whatcom County's own nonprofit education farm center. Learn about the farm intern program, crop trials and the value of Integrated Pest Management. Experience rain garden demo and propagation demo. Taste honey made from local bees, and get ideas for how to shop and cook local fresh food. Create a picnic with fresh produce from the farm stand and Gusto Pizza. Come experience and learn about your dynamic local food system!
