Event Description

Join your neighbors for a Streamside Habitat Restoration Work-Party!
Know your Regional Watersheds & Where Your Household & Drinking Water Comes From!

Plant native trees & shrubs along the new Racine Trail, which runs along Whatcom Creek north from Fraser St. to the south end of Racine St just below Whatcom Falls Park.

Tools & gloves will be provided.
Wear weather-appropriate clothing & wear sturdy shoes.

Volunteer with Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA) volunteers, plus volunteers from B'ham Parks & WWU's L.E.A.D.

Network with your friends for carpooling or ride a bike & dress in layers!
Parking available in the Geri Fields parkinglot at the corner of Fraser St. & Puget St. Ollk for signs & check in at the blude NSEA tent.

Refreshments provided by The Bagelry, the Community Food Co-op, Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods, Starbucks Coffee, Tony's Coffee & Teas.

NSEA is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring sustainable wild salmon runs in Whatcom County.
