Bellingham, Washington | In honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., A Community celebration of MLK Jr. Day – Keeping the Dream Alive! On this evening, we will celebrate Dr. King’s notion of a “Beloved Community,” with ceremony, song, and special presentations.

Kevin Murphy
Kevin Murphy has been performing his dynamic poetry for over 40 years. Kevin is the “poet-in-residence” of the Chuckanut Radio Hour, and was the winner of a Bellingham Mayor’s Art Award in 2017. He has taught poetry writing through Whatcom Community College and the Whatcom Juvenile Justice Creative Writing Program.
Terrance Morris – Diversity advocate, founder of A Connection, Unity committee president, and Whatcom County Racial Equity Commission.
