INDUSTRIAL HEMP: A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO MULTIPLE PROBLEMS

WHO: YOU and a panel of Sandy Soderberg and other founders of the Evergreen Hemp Co.

WHAT: Forum on the multiple benefits of industrial hemp, and the path to re-legalization

WHY: Hemp Revival for Human Survival. Industrial Hemp had a long history in America before it was swept out in 1937 by special interest groups who falsely equated it to psychoactive cannabis. The irony that high THC content marijuana is now legal in Washington while extremely low THC content hemp is still not legal, is inescapable.

This is your opportunity to learn from enthusiastic experts and to ask questions about Hemp, the Environmental Mega-Protector.

Note: Be aware this is a meeting of Green Party of Whatcom County. TW does not normally post political party events, but in this case it appears to be primarily an educational event about legalizing a product that a growing number of TW members feel could contribute to local resilience.
