Event Description

Join us for a casual workshop for beginning gardeners. Hear local farmers and experienced gardeners talk about what works and what doesn’t work for our climate. Krista Rome from Resilient Seeds, Celt Shira, Muriel Kehl and Debbie Cantrell will share information gleaned over 30 years of gardening in Whatcom county. Garden planning, the 10% Plan, starting seedlings, soil prep and health, and seed saving are some of the topics that will be covered.

Reserve your spot: text or call  360-920-0981. Suggestions on additional topics welcome.

The event is free. Donations will be gratefully accepted, and will be shared between the Alternative Library and the Happy Valley Community Garden "Hose Repair Fund"
