“Getting Seeds Into the Hands of the People!”
4th Annual COMMUNITY SEED DAY on January 29th, 2012 Sunday 1pm-4pm – at The Majestic -1027 N. Forest St.
Presentation: “Basic Seed Saving” by Celt Schira -
2:00-3:30 pm (downstairs from swap).
Seed-swap starts at 1pm and ends at 4pm.
You are welcomed to bring/share:
• Your extra store bought, packaged seeds
• Heirloom (non-hybrid) seeds - In labeled
containers/envelopes
• Edible tubers or potatoes
• Extra envelopes to share if you have them
Free and Open to the Public - Donations accepted! – write checks to 'Sustainable Bellingham”).
Light refreshments will be provided.

An abundance of seeds & people at the seed savers exchange. Some wonderful seeds came home with me. Chatted with some cool people. Gained sprouting knowledge, was given Milk Thistle, Amaranth, Red Quinoa and a brownie! Seeds = inspiration & potential.
