Event Description

Co-sponsored by Transition Whatcom.  Transition Whatcom is willing to sponsor (pay for) this class for TW members who are willing to make a commitment to host a couple TW Work Group meetings where they can apply what they learn. Contact twog@transitionwhatcom.org for more info.

Are you sick of poor process and wasting your time? We will look at different types of facilitation and the skills involved in running effective meetings. Alan draws from his experience with Dynamic Facilitation, the 8-Shields Model, and Nonviolent Communication -- as well as attending and facilitating crazy numbers of meetings since 1994. The format will be a combination of presentation and Q&A. This class will also be filmed so that many more people can benefit from it in the future.

Saturday, March 24, 2012, 10am - 1pm
