Transition Whatcom

We are going to re-energize the Transition Whatcom web site and we would like your input.

Take a look and let us know how it can be more helpful as an introduction to what Transition Whatcom is all about. This is many times the first view a visitor has of us.

www.transitionwhatcom.org

What about it works well? What would you like to see different about the Transition .org site?

How about our social networking web site www.transitionwhatcom.ning.com? This site is the place for members to post events, have discussions, create working groups and share knowledge and experiences. We hope the site will encourage folks to get together (in person) to create a more resilient and self reliant Whatcom County.

Do you find it useful for these goals? What would you like to see different? What works well?

Lets use this discussion forum to trade ideas and thoughts about this topic.

Thanx,

Your TWOG (Transition Whatcom Operating Group)

Having a presences on Twitter would be a great idea. A great way to get the word out. I am on twitter https://twitter.com/aquamanalaska .

One of the things we're going to try to do (again) is to revamp the "Groups."  I hear that some people get a bit lost in the sea of groups we have out there, where most of them are inactive. So some groups will likely go away, and others we hope to revitalize.

Think about where your interest is, where your aliveness is in regards to the Groups.

Hi Jeff,

It would be great to have a TW Twitterer. I am not on Twitter (or Facebook), so that would not be me.
