Transition Bellingham

Our next Head & Heart Meeting will be Sunday, March 12th from 4:00-5:30pm at The Hub Community Bike Shop (1320 Commercial St). As a reminder, Head & Heart Meetings have replaced our regular group meetings and are opportunities to connect and reflect together, followed by snacks.

For this meeting, Spring Cheng will be facilitating. Here's a summary Spring has provided for the meeting:

"Climate crisis not only requires critical thinking, but also propels us to tap into our deepest instinctual resources and somatic intelligence. Spring Cheng will lead an embodied exercise sourced from Theatre of Liberation (also called Theatre of the Oppressed) to explore our relationship and inner dynamic around the issue of power. Theatre of Liberation was originally invented by Augusto Boal, Brazilian theatre practitioner and political activist. Spring is an associate artist/practitioner at Mandala Center for Change where she learned this craft."
