Transition Whatcom Book Study Group

Upon the cancellation of the Election Forum, we are going to have a book study group after all - and we will discuss how Transition is to involve the council!

Join us on Thursday, August 1st at 6:30PM as we continue our study of The Transition Companion, by Rob Hopkins. (review)

Come to the meeting with Three ideas you found inspiring generated from the readings in "Deepening" - either things you would like to more learn about, things you would be interested in teaching or things you would like to do as a work day with the group.

We will continue to meet on the first Thursday of the month until we are done with the book.

Ownership of the book would be helpful, but not necessary.  If you have the earlier Transition Handbook, we will have some comparison between the two.  Many important parts of the Transition Companion are available online as the Transition Ingredients.
