Are Our Cities and Towns Financially Healthy?
On Thursday, October 20 Charles Marohn will be in Bellingham, talking about the financial health of American cities:
• Why are our cities and towns so short of resources despite decades of robust growth?
• Why do we struggle at the local level to maintain our basic infrastructure?
• How can we become more resilient in changing times?
The current path that many American cities are pursuing is not financially stable.
Strong Towns ideas can help us choose a different path. Come and listen to any of the three Curbside Chats, and join in the discussion with your friends and neighbors.
