We do these on the second Saturday of every month. Organized outdoor games and activities for children. Designed to teach nature awareness, basic primitive skills, and being confident in the wilderness. Parents welcome. If you are an adult and wish to help out, please call first (see phone number above).
Bring a knapsack, first aid kit, water bottle, lunch and appropriate clothing.
To attend, you will need to join Fertile Ground. You can do this at the event or on our website. Membership is $10 for adults and is valid through the rest of 2009. Membership for children 15 and under is free. Membership also allows you access to all Fertile Ground events including Post Petroleum Survival (learn skills such as gardening, permaculture, preserving food, self-defense, bicycle repair, carpentry without power tools), Mountain Hikes, Papa Bear (men's group), Mama Bear (women's group), Restoring Earth (ecological restoration projects) and many other events and activities.
