Regenerate Whatcom/Permaculture Meetup at Owl Farm

Owl Farm is a 34 acre Permaculture Idea Site and Wildlife Refuge which includes four homes.  Merry Teesdale moved here in 2003 and has practiced permaculture and landscape artistry for 20 years.  

Aside from individual gardens, we have a food forest, three patches of coppiced basket willow, a pond, 19 acres of interesting forest and lots of sensors to monitor wildlife and birds.  Less than 3 acres are under human cultivation, the rest is managed for wildlife by controlling weeds, a no dog policy, and increasing native diversity.  

In zones 1 and 2, currently we are replacing plants that are not attractive to pollinators with natives.  The Meet-up activities are a tour, apple pressing, discussion and potluck!
