Please join us for an All Ages Ceremony with song, story and art offerings in a clearcut forest formerly known as “Box of Rain” timber sale, now as “Vessel of Tears”
The time draws near for our next journey to the formerly named Box of Rain timber sale/clearcut forest. We originally befriended this place in days of the forest's thriving with biological diversity, teeming with life in so many forms: mature and nearly old growth trees, many animal species, native plants, an intact mycelial network and intricate understory-- all graced with river song that still remains. We were allies to the forest that was ultimately clearcut.
Please use this link https://events.humanitix.com/vessel-of-tears to register if you wish to join us! Although this is a free event, attendance is limited, and early registration is recommended by Sunday, June 14th. Confirmation of participation and more details (exact location, what to bring and carpooling) are provided upon registration.
With warmth and care,
Elizabeth Kerwin and Jillian Froebe
This event is co hosted by Deeper Currents, Center for Responsible Forestry and ReSources and is an affiliated event of the Global Earth Exchange where people from all over the globe come together to grief what’s vanishing from beloved places, offering gratitude and beauty to all life that remains and regenerates.
