As part of the encouragement for on the ground "Immersion events" for the bio-regional organizing of Regenerate Cascadia, Terri Wilde is hosting a close-up, personal experience in one of the last, low elevation, ancient forests in the Skagit Valley, at Rockport State Park.

Deepen your understanding of native forests in order inform planting native plants elsewhere and creating new ecosystem/guilds. We will also cover edible and medicinal uses for humans of the plants and fungi that we meet. And we will get to know our local Regenerate Cascadia cohorts in person.
Bring a snack to share and dress prepared for a short hike, rain or shine.
Carpooling is encouraged... if you plan to come and are interested in sharing or getting a ride, please inform Terri of your desired plans and location and she will try to connect you.
