Co-hosted by Birchwood Food Desert Fighters and @The Whatcom Peace & Justice Center

With the continuous rise of fascism and increased need for community mutual aid, preparedness and efficacy, we wanted to invite you to “Skill Up and Connect for Community”. This series of simultaneous workshops is scheduled to happen on Saturday afternoon 2:30-6pm, March 22nd at Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship Social Hall.

If you're feeling helpless or overwhelmed, this event is for you to connect and build your analysis and skills alongside other local groups and organizers in the community.

Workshops will include

Tribal sovereignty
Know Your Rights
Agenda Making and Facilitation
Transformative Justice
Digital Security

All are welcome, including children - childcare and children’s activities will be provided.

Spanish interpretation is scheduled and we have a request out for ASL interpretation as well.
