Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I have transitioned into eating local organic produce, biking and walking to meet clients whenever possible, use of cloth bags for the grocery store, energy efficient lighting at my home, growing herbs & veggies, CSA, sustainable connections, sustainable business practices, educating myself on sustainability topics, supporting local business instead of box stores.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The Transition movement interests me because my moral beliefs are to respect the planet, build community and live in harmony with each other. I am interested in joining a group so that I can actively make change on a larger level than just my own household.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I teach yoga! I am also a skilled communicator and leader and would be happy to facilitate yoga at meetings or workshops.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
South Hill
Your Personal Website (if you have one)
http://www.fitbodywellness.com
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Renata invited me to join. Also one of my client's Gary Bachman (naturopathic physician) told me about the Great Unleashing.
Please note that you do not have to answer all of the above questions in order to join, and you can always come back later to edit your profile. If it's all too many questions for now, please provide a short answer below on why you'd like to join this site (or a summary of the above, if answered).
I would like to join Transition Whatcom to help further the cause. We need to make a more sustainable community and I believe that groups like this really help support the cause.
