Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Learning as much as I can about sustainable building practices, sharing with my clients what I have learned, and making the buildings I design as sustainable as possible.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
For as long as I can remember, I've felt that this country was on a downward spiral. Although I didn't know the word at the time, even as a high school student I could see that we were living in an unsustainable way. I am appalled at our wasteful ways of living and apparent blindness to the impending collapse of the planet.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
My area of expertise is architecture, but I am interested in all aspects of sustainability, especially waste reduction.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Columbia Neighborhood

The orchardist I would recommend is Travis Dickson, he is extremely knowledgeble and experienced.  His email is traviscalebdickson@gmail.com, and I could probably dig up his phone number somewhere...

No worries. I am an infrequent visitor to this online world. How many groups can one keep up with? I am finding that I prefer to talk to people in person.
