How are you currently involved in the Transition?

I have an interest in my big garden at my residence. I also enjoy helping others with my ecclectic background.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

My interest in Transition is most recently focused on successful communication in relationships. One of the biggest reasons that intentional communities fail is because people don't generally have the skills to successfully navigate relationships where differing opinions affect your living space and conditions. I am committed to teaching and guiding others to be successful in their relationships and communication.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I have been a general contractor for many years and can build lots of stuff. My bigger interest is in retrofitting existing homes to be waaaaaay more energy efficient through some simple and inexpensive means and others that would be more expensive but worth it in the long run.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

North Laurel area
