Alborz!

We were talking last night about ground breaking strategies for your Youth Services Garden and I saw that they are doing a garden ground breaking at the Center for Self Reliance (the Fairhaven Rose Garden) on This Saturday - I would recommend that you check it out to see what steps they are taking. I think they are sheet mulching - it was interesting to hear Dave Sansone's pros and cons of sheet mulching vs. roto tilling...

Hi Alborz! There is a buzz about your new vegan restaurant opening up!
I'm excited to come and eat sometime. Thanks for hosting the transition event on Sunday....I'll be at the seed-swap out at Inspiration Farm after its over. Swap goes until about 6pm...or longer if folks come with food & music.

Hi Alborz! It was great to meet you at the garden potluck the other night. I just found out about the restaurant you are starting-- it is ABOUT TIME that Bham had a restaurant focusing on local and vegan food!! Very cool. Hey, if your business is interested in having some edible perennial plants planted outside in celebration of 350 Day (Oct 24th) let me know. Or if you don't know what it is, I'll tell you!
