I'm in search of a variety of edible/medicinal plants, shrubs, etc that will make a fun & interesting hedgerow...height can vary from 4-5' to 10-12'.  I have a long berm that would greatly appreciate them.  Anything evergreen would be a bonus.

Suki, this is a great link with good info on native medicinal plants. It includes info on how to use the plant.

Check with Plantis Nativis on State Street they have a nursery and you can view the different plants they have to get an idea of what you can use. If you are planting on a berm without irrigation you want to make sure you have a plant that can make it through a hot dry summer the 1rst year as roots tend to dry out quick on berms plan to mulch and water them in the 1rst year.
