Event Description
The WTA July 15th Board meeting is at the County Council Chambers. It starts at 8:00 AM and the public comment period, if you’d like to address the Board, is the very first thing.
At the public comment session held Wednesday, June 30, I proposed enlisting the support of members of the community for an "out-of-the box" brainstorming session on alternative solutions to cuts. It would be good to have a consolidated contingent show up for this meeting to reiterate our willingness to participate in addressing the need for primary services such as this to not only maintain current levels of service, but to deepen the commitment of this county to being a "green living" model.

8am for public comment period is so early in the morning and so many folks are working during those hours!
I won't be able to attend, though give thanks to whomever does and any follow up info posted.

Thanks for the heads up on that Heather! I was only looking at what I put in the body of the post. Also, I don't know when it ends, but I know the public comment section is first.

Is July 15th Thurs at 8am the date of the WTA board meeting?
(Might there be an error with the orginal event posting that states July 4th from 6-7pm?)
Thanks for posting Dawn, and any corrections/clarifications you can make. I know sometimes these Event postings take a bit of a learning curve, and then there is the approvel time waiting period. As the person who posted, you have the ability to revise any informtion you posted.
