This class explores the painful consequences of our current money system, and experiments with new (actually very ancient) methods of meeting human needs: barter, giving/recieving, voluntary simplicity, and cultivating abundance.
In addition to stimulating dialogue, we will share real-time experiences of buying, selling, trading, and giving and recieving gifts, while observing the effects of these choices on our emotions and relationships. This course will run the gamut from the practical to the spiritual, the uncomfortable to the joyful, so bring your open heart and mind.
Taught by Ginger Kennell and Chris Wolf, who both hold Master's degrees in human systems and live a daily lifestyle involved closely with animals, the Earth, and human healing.
Register through the Whatcom Folk School by April 16th: www.whatcomfolkschool.org
Fee: $15 Registration fee to the folk school, plus a "gift of any amount" to the instructors.

On April 19, I am volunteering at the Culminating Celebration for the Reel Food Film Fest, so -- dang! -- I'll miss this. I hope you will be offering it again sometime; looks like a great workshop!
