10 Volunteers are needed to help students sort their move-out waste and properly utilize the receptacles provided. This is a joint project of the WWU Office of Sustainability and the City of Bellingham. There will be 3 locations strategically located in the areas with the highest density student housing. Note: only students with valid ID's will be allowed to bring waste to these locations.

Me, too. Jean. This discussion came up at a Transition Tea. I hope they are also recycling cleaning products, too. Each student household has to clean before moving out - multiply that many households times bottles of spray cleaners, cleansers, floor cleaners. YIKES!
I am so GLAD they are doing this!! So much re-usable stuff ends up in the dumpsters at the end of the school year. Thank you Office of Sustainability! Too bad I had other plans for the day.
