Registration is now open for my spring class, "Successful Beekeeping in Whatcom County." We'll begin Tuesday evening, March 3rd, 6:30-8:30pm, 8 Tuesday evening classes altogether. Final class: April 21st. We'll meet at Chuckanut Center on Bellingham's south side.
This course describes my own sustainable beekeeping methods, based on 21 years of using Langstroth hives to best advantage in Whatcom County's unique beekeeping conditions. I believe most new and newer beekeepers can succeed in their first years with good training, precisely what I offer in these classes. Home reading suggestions will prepare you for our intense 2-hour classes. In class we'll be dealing with the specific techniques and equipment essential to sustainable beekeeping. I'll lead several field trips to my own hives near Lake Padden.
TO REGISTER: Send an email with Name, Phone Number, Email Address to michaeljaross@gmail.com. Payment of tuition, $325, secures your place in the class.
I'm glad to answer questions about the class or just chat about your beekeeping plans and aspirations. Here's my contact info: (360) 483-9754 michaeljaross@gmail.com https://whatcombeehelp.com/contactmichael/ ;
