This fun workshop series will focus on the many activities necessary for living off the land in harmony with nature. Topics will include: growing your own food year-round, raising animals for meat and eggs, Permaculture, alternative fuels, compost making, water catchment, wild edibles, cooking homegrown food, and ecosystem restoration.
Each class will include information, hands-on projects, and Q&A. Each day's projects will be tailored to the season, weather, and interest of the participants. The skills taught can be applied to both urban and rural settings. Taught by Krista Rome and Chris Wolf at Riverhaven Homestead.
