Plant Walk and Creek Restoration Visit/ Native Plant Survey

We will leisurely wander the back trails from the Chuckanut Center to the Padden Creek Restoration project, learning about edible and medicinal uses of plants. We will especially be noting native plant populations.

All Ages welcome
$5-20 suggested donation
Time: 1.5 hours
Terri Wilde has led plant walks in many settings, from urban strolls to Padilla Bay Reserve, to the Academy for Life Long Learning and at Rockport State Park. She teaches about cooking with wild foods, herbal medicine, foraging, permaculture and how to avoid toxic products.

**Parking is available at Fairhaven Park, a short walk south along sidewalk, or across the street at Fairhaven Middle School, bus #105 bus stops right at our gatehouse, bicycle, or walk from Fairhaven, or trails from Fairhaven park and Padden Creek trail **
