Please join us for a spirited evening devoted to honoring Dr King and his vision for a beloved community.

 

Checo Tohomaso

Special Musical Guest

Previously played keyboards, percussion and

sang background vocals for the last European

tour of Motown legend Marvin Gaye. Checo’s

current focus is to communicate the positive,

healing qualities of soul music to as many people

as possible.

Ed Bereal

Bellingham-based legendary artist

known for exhibitions and performances that

have addressed political issues and racial

stereotypes since the 1960s.  

 

Vernon Damani Johnson

The co-founder of the Whatcom Human Rights

Task Force, retired political science professor

 at WWU, and longtime champion of nonviolence

and civic engagement.
