Celebrate the magnificent trees of Elizabeth Park on Arbor Day, Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include various activities for all ages, and at noon Bellingham Mayor Dan Pike will present an Arbor Day proclamation.
This free event offers guided tree walks by local tree experts John Wesselink and James Luce at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Bellingham Parks Department's arborist will provide a tree climbing demonstration.
