Event Description
Join Hunter Wolf for a friendly introduction into the world of improving degraded soil! Students leave the class with the knowledge of what goes on in the soil food web, how to start and maintain a worm bin, how to make teas/extracts, and how to set up a microscope to observe soil biology.
Class Outline:
- Learning the soil food web
- Maintaining a worm bin
- Tea/extract methods & equipment.
- Microscopy -Setting up samples, using microscopes, observing soil biology
This class is suited for beginners –there are no physical requirements.
The session will run for roughly 4 hrs at 42$. Class size will be 5-10 participants.
