In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Sense of community. We can each do little things that add up to big.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Interested in permaculture, biophilic design, green building, sustainable development, urban planning and neuroscience. Specifically want to plan and build a community home for those with and without disabilities. Would like to find others who want to work toward this goal.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Happy Valley Neighborhood 6 blocks from Fairhaven
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
Someone told me about BUGS and suggested I look them up. So I googled Bellingham Urban Garden. Then found out about Transition Whatcom.

Hi Kathy! Great to see you here! If you haven't done so yet, you can go to the members tab, search for members that live in your neighborhood. Just put in Whatcom Falls and see who pops up.
Lots of great groups going on - there may be one in or around your neighborhood but I haven't heard of it yet.
Also, there is a book out called "The Transition Handbook" by Rob Hopkins. It tells all about this movement.
