In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?: I understand it to be one of the progressive networking groups in Whatcom County and I would like the support of such a group, connect students to the group as fitting, become involved in some capacity.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?: I'd like to get to know the group more before knowing what I have to offer. My interests are certainly building communities (locally and globally) that respect the commons, the earth, and the people living now and in the future. I have been a long time educator/activist so have resources and skills in working for positive social change. From what I know of Transition Whatcom, I see the organization as positively looking at and acting for the present and the future and I want to be a part of building healthy communities.
