- How are you currently involved in the Transition?
- I am deeply interested in the process the organization is using
1. to bring itself into existence
2. to hone its message and
3. to articulate a compelling vision.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- At its heart, the purpose of TW must be the transformation of consciousness. Otherwise, we will recreate the same social results but against a different economic backdrop. I have been involved in social transformation for many years and liked much of what I read in Hopkins' book and decided this might be a place where I could invest my energy and talents.
- Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
- I bring years of facilitation and communication work, highlighted by the work with collective wisdom which my company, Collective Intelligence Solutions, has accomplished in the past few years.

- Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
- Ask some questions about what turns me on or excites me about TW. Co-creating a new social model is about as thrilling as opportunities get, yet I hear little of that coming from the organization. My take on the situation is that the emotion of joy and the sense of contribution could be strengthened.

Transportation shortfall

I'd like some help. I am writing an article for Northwest Citizen about the people of Whatcom county responding to WTA's upcoming service decline. I cannot find a transportation sub-committee on the home page. Where can someone direct my query: How important is this transportation gap to the mission of Transition Whatcom?
