Hi Max
I gave your card to the groundskeeper (who manages the fruit trees) at Anderson Creek Lodge and he said he would talk with Renee (the current innkeeper). He thought it was a great plan for you all to come out and get the fruit. His name is Bob Crandall. Don't hesitate to follow up on that if you haven't heard from them. I told them I was going to follow up with you regarding passing the card to them.
Hi Max, I totally understand having more cool projects than you can do at once! I will talk with my other fruit-tree mapping friends and see if we can do some impromptu fruit mapping over the next few weeks while the fruit trees are obvious. Then maybe over the winter when you have lots more time (??) we can put our heads together about some more formal project. How does that sound? So glad I've met you!
Hi Max! So great to see you on the Transition Whatcom page. I love this site, it is like Facebook for all the green-minded people of our county. Let me know if you want to coordinate about mapping the fruit trees in York neighborhood, I know others who are also interested in helping with that.
The convergence is Sept. 18, 19 and 20th. Yes, the York neighborhood group is really cookin' it up! Have you joined that group? I see you said you live in Seattle - are you living in two places?
