- How are you currently involved in the Transition?
- Currently, I have completed the Master Gardener program and am engaged in a "Grow Your Own Groceries" project working with new gardeners. Also am President of the "Friends of Tennant Lake and Hovander Park" group. Am also working with a student in the Whatcom Literacy Program.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- For many years I studied the Edgar Cayce readings and became very interested in earth changes and the lifestyle after earth changes. I continue to be interested as we move through all the current changes. Actually, all my life I have been interested in how the ancient Native Americans lived, and in a way of life that is harmonious with Nature.
- Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
- Mostly the gardening. I am a retired Social Worker, but it is too expensive to maintain my license.
- In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
- Ferndale
- Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
- The first showing of "The Power of Community" DVD in Ferndale. I also have that DVE and continue to find it inspiring.

i AM AN AVID GARDENER HERE IN Costa Rica.Live here with my wife of 43 years
more or less. My Children live in USA- 2 boys one girl. The girl is the youngest
and an art theripist but more like a social worker. She just came out of a horrible
experience living 6 years with an ex marine. Right now I am into trying to get
her back on her feet.
