I am actively involved in awareness with the Golden Ears Transition Initiative in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, BC. My mother lives in Whatcom County and that is where I am from originally.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I want to be a part of the positive changes that are and will be occurring because of the Transition Movement. I am concerned about the future if we do not work together as resilient communities and actively work to change our unhealthy ways of life,
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I would like to help spread awareness of the Transition Movement where I can. My mother has not learned of Transition Whatcom yet, and I believe she would be interested in finding out more.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I found a link to your site through Village Vancouver's website. Before that I hadn't heard of you.
Please note that you do not have to answer all of the above questions in order to join, and you can always come back later to edit your profile. If it's all too many questions for now, please provide a short answer below on why you'd like to join this site (or a summary of the above, if answered).
My interests in Transition are growing, I am actively involved and I like to see how this movement grows by linking all transition around the world.
