Biodynamic farming, foraging, consuming locally, organically grown produce and humanely raised animals, biking, running, walking, raising an "aware" child.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am interested in anything that promotes that we can handle things ourselves with out the assistance of big government. I love small communities in action, with caring, passionate, tolerant people! Also, we as a country really need to cut back on our fossil fuel reliance.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am really busy right now, and that stinks, but I would be happy to help with anyone starting their own fermentation projects, be eat beer, wine, kefir, kombucha, beet kvass. Also, I am a good resource for traditional methods of food production.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
I am in Fairhaven and on Kelly Rd.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
I have heard about it through my own community members.

I am a progressive individual with backward thinking mindset. I want a simple life for my family full of nutrient dense food that was grown or foraged with care. I am ready to be challenged to incorporate more foraging, growing and preserving into my life.
