How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Currently a member of the Whatcom County Council, Director of the Pipeline Safety Trust, and work nationally on sustainability issues such as tar sands transport
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The nation has it's head in the sand regarding peak oil and other energy issues. Through local actions perhaps we can protect our own little piece of the earth, and hopefully that example may spread

Welcome Carl! Thank you for your work and being on the county council!

After the sad vote outcome at council on Tues pm, re the prioritizing of gravel mining re-zone over working small-farms & forestry, it was helpful for me to remember the good news of you being there and speaking truth.
