Produce Swap - Columbia Share Shack at Columbia Share Shack

Bring any produce you've grown/collected and/or food products you've crafted to swap and/or gift to one another.  A box and a small tablecloth/towel would be good too to display your items (and transport the ones you gather...).  I encourage people to stay as long as possible to conduct trades in person to build relationships that could lead to ongoing forms of mutual support. Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
I ran GroundSwell Landscaping, a permaculture-based gardening biz from 2018 till now. I've been helping the Columbia Share Shack build sustainable community since it reopened this May. I'm teaching a Re-Wilding course at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center. I volunteer as a Land Steward for Whatcom Land Trust.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I grow food, drive a Leaf and a bicycle. I've been trying to slow down biodiversity loss for 47 years.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
Organic gardening, building raised garden beds and tiny homes, cooking inspirational vegetarian food

used to belong to the SUSNE tool library and was looking for one in B'Ham. I'd like to help make one happen!
