We debriefed the meeting with ReSources about local investing.  It seems like they are supportive but that we should move ahead with the LION model and check in with them regularly.  Our group has agreed to study the LION documents and hold a special meeting next Saturday, February 12th at 10am to talk more details about creating a similar network in Bellingham.  Location TBA, hopefully the Coop Connections building.  This meeting is open to all group members, but please read the documents carefully if you want to attend.

Thanks everyone!

I have attached three documents with detailed information about room rentals at BUF and the Public Library for your review. I've talked with the Administrative Asst. at BUF and they recommend the using the Sanctuary there because it will have the AV equipment needed and there would not be time needed for room setup. She stated that in support of TW they would offer the room at the member rate of $30/hr. Both the Community Room at the Central Library and the Sanctuary at BUF are available on the Sat, April 16th from 1-5 (as of Feb 10th). Note there is a $300 refundable damage deposit at BUF in addition to the usual $50 room deposit.

I'm waiting for a call from the Library to determine whether the cost is $12.50/hr or $25. It's given as one on the flyer and another in the Policy Statement. ~Shirley
