10:10 US Launch Party
Hi Fellow Transition Whatcom Members!
I wanted to be sure everyone knows what is coming to town next week! There is a global campaign called 10:10 (www.1010global.org) that is coming to the US...starting right here in Bellingham. The Mayor has already signed up and we are having a launch party on Wed, June 2nd at the Blue Horse Gallery from 5-7 where Mayor Dan Pike will be speaking as well as Troy D. Abel, Ph.D., Environmental Science Department, WWU.
I would love for you all to attend! and please spread the word. You can find the Facebook invite to pass along by searching 10:10 US Launch Party.
I was also wondering if anyone would like to come to Seattle to help with this launch at the Green Festival June 5th and 6th...I'm looking for volunteers to work our table and sign up people to the campaign.
