Yes, another exciting chance to learn the basics of Permaculture and see them applied to an urban-sized property.
Permaculture is an approach to providing for our own human needs (such as food) while benefitting nature and our fellow humans.
Hosts Andrea and Bob will have us at their new house on the South Side: 2070 Fairhaven Ave. We will be teaching Permaculture basics, mapping the property, brainstorming best uses for this property (including sun and shade areas, a creek, and a steep drop-off), and answering any questions you have about your own gardening and restoration efforts.
This workshop will be taught by Chris Wolf, certified permaculture designer, and Andrea Lanctot, a Permaculturist who has recently moved here from an established Permaculture site in California. Assistant teaching by YOU, with your own knowledge, curiosity, and creativity!
This workshop is "by donation," suggested $10 to $20, but everyone is encouraged to attend.
