** Where: 1349 Franklin Street, corner of Potter, go to backyard, you'll see little path to left of front door. Ring bell #105 if needed. MAPhttp://goo.gl/maps/9V22B.
** When: Tuesday, April 9th, 6:30-8:00pm work, 8:00pm meal.
** Requested Items to Bring: shovels, pitchforks, rakes, gloves and any other tools since I have minimal tools on site.
** Tasks: Garden is in disarray after one year dormant so we need to clean brush, turn soil, basic maintenance to get it up to speed.
** Food: I'll have salad, and vegetarian meal (lasagna or crock pot). Probably can't accommodate gluten-free or specific allergies, etc. but will take care of meal so not necessary to bring anything.
** Hosts: Jennifer Karchmer, jenniferk317 [at] yahoo [dot] com, 518-569-9118. Community house with garden space that had been lovingly taken care of in the past, but has been dormant for one year. Needs attention and TLC to get it back up to speed.
** Questions: email Jean at artiseverywhere [at] yahoo [dot] com, or rgp@sustainablebellingham.org.

Attending a tuesday roving garden party is a way to put your hands working in the heart of your community.....A great blend of work, community & meal sharing!

This past Tuesday was a delight as we had at least 4 young folks working together with adults & teens....We created the first two raised garden beds for a family of 5 who plan to grow kale to make kale chips for the kids.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday nights through spring.
