** Where: Alison's garden at 3515 18th St Bellingham. Below Chuckanut Village off Chuckanut Drive, about a mile down Hwy 11 from Fairhaven.
DIRECTIONS from Fairhaven: Go south on Hwy 11, past Fairhaven Park and the home of the CLSR on Left. Continue south on Chuckanut Drive, 1 mile. Head down big hill, take a Y to the right at the Chucaknut Bay Gallery, (right past Briza subdivision). Head down into Chuckanut Village. You will immediately approach an “L” turn. Stay to the right. You are heading down towards the water. Go down the hill a few 100 yards. Take a left onto 18th St. Take a left at the “T” into Rainier Ave. Go down a tiny little hill, (20 yds) and take a right onto 18th again. (this is an old broken up right of way, actually an alley!) We are the second house on the right. Native landscaping. Drive over the bridge, and park on the right or left. You can walk in past the garage, over a small bridge, or come to the front door.

** When: Tuesday, 4/1, 6:00-9:00pm.
** Requested Items to Bring: Gloves , shears of you like, if someone has a good pole pruner that would really come in handy!
** Tasks: Weeding, edging, planting veggie starts, some pruning of dead wood and clean up.
** Food: I like to do a vegetarian chili and cornbread perhaps for the crew.
** Host: Alison Kutz, Alison [at] Soundhorticulture [dot] com. Alison's place is down in Chuckanut Village, on the water and creek, in a sensitive environment with some interesting raised beds and food production challenges being at sea level!
