Event Description

Learn more about how our current laws fail to adequately protect people who eat fish from the Puget Sound. Join the fight for stronger protections. We'll give you a detailed breakdown of the proposed changes in Washington's water quality standards as they relate to local fish consumption, public health concerns, and the state economy. Led by guest speaker Chris Wilke, Executive Director of the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance, you'll learn how the standards are set, what's at stake, and how you can influence the legislative session. Email Wendy if you have questions, or call (360)733-8307.

More info on the proposed standards can be found at http://tinyurl.com/unsafewaterstandards
