Event Description

Nourish and bless your loved ones during the holidays with vibrant health and the abundance of the plant world by making your own herbal gifts. Making our own gifts to give in the holidays not only feels better for us and those that receive, but also decreases our dependence on large corporations and consumer culture. In this class, we will go through various herbal preparations that make great gifts for the holidays, such as: Herbal clays, spritzers and sprays, honeys, vinegars, oxymels, tea and tincture formulas for immunity, stress, mental clarity and energy. We will also go through preparation of herbal oils, salves, and creams if there is enough time. By focusing on the use of local plants for local people, we empower ourselves by understanding our own ecology and the abundance of medicinal plants in the Pacific Northwest.
Sajah has apprenticed with herbalists Matthew Wood, Pam Montgomery, Robert Bartlett, and has a degree in Herbal Sciences from Bastry University.

Give me a phonecall if you need help with the workshop set up or helping out during.
