How are you currently involved in the Transition?
In the process of creating a food forest on our little lot north of Bellingham. Gearing up to convert my diesel truck to run on waste vegetable oil. Buying local. Researching ways to get our property off the electrical grid, etc.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Transitioning off of petroleum is smart no matter where you lie on the political spectrum. Why would anyone think it is a good idea to continue to rely on something which is in finite supply?
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am am student of permaculture design and implementation. It is my passion and what takes up most of my focus.
In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?
Blaine / Custer / Ferndale border.
Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?
On website GreenConversion.net. I heard of it by Googling their information I read on a sign placed near some blueberry bushes they were selling at Thee Market in Birch Bay.

    I couldn't help butting in about your comment on the Mycological Restoration page. I am on the webteam for the site.

    If you want to send a private message to one individual, the best way is to go to the Members page and search for them. Then you can go to their personal page and comment. 

    For following comments on a Group page, you can check under the Comment box to see that you've clicked on "Follow - Email me when people comment" . If you have - it should say "Stop Following - Don't email me when people comment." 

    I'd love to know if that solves the problem.
