How are you currently involved in the Transition?
New to the area and I have just recently learned of TW. I myself try to find ways to impact nature, my surrounding and community in positive ways. As a household we do our best to avoid plastic, buy local and reduce our consumption.
As a friend of mine says "you don't have to move to change where you live."
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am interested in a more sustainable lifestyle, cleaner air, water and land. I am hopeful of a simpler kind of life that is more in tun with Gods creation.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?
I am a carpenter who loves to help. I have an a ability to use the resources available and find viable alternatives in building.
Familiar with all aspects of home building.

    Hi Mark! I hope you & family are well.

    As for your question about “which plants add what to the soil”, it is a good one, and it depends both on what is in the soil and the environmental conditions. I'll think it over as far as recommending a book. (let me know how basic or advanced you are thinking of). Farmer Walter H may also have a recommendation.

    Hi Mark,
    I just heard about a house in Cornwall Park or Columbia for rent for nine-fifty. Two bedrooms - can't provide details cause I don't know them but the person to call is Samya at seven five eight seven three three nine. My number keyboard doesn't work.
