How are you currently involved in the Transition?

Studying permaculture, recently completed a PDC, using bicycle and walking for much transportation, moving soon to an acreage to grow food and live in a three generation household. My multigenerational household family have been involved in organic farming, bicycling, permaculture, and political action in this area for years.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

I believe whole heartedly in the principles and want to find a community in my new neighborhood of like minded people.

Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

I have a background in raising and working with livestock. I am much looking forward to implementing a permaculture design on my new property. I knit with natural fibers.

In what neighborhood or part of the county do you reside?

Currently living in Australia, but soon moving back to US, have bought an acreage north of Ferndale.

Where did you hear about Transition Whatcom and how did you find our community network website?

Looking for information on electric assist bicycles that might be available in the Bellingham area, I came across a blog on your site.
