Profile Information:

How are you currently involved in the Transition?
Indirectly. I teach EFT, which is a way to develop emotional and mental resilience, become stress-proof, and often to prevent or heal stress-related physical problems, which can include a surprising range. I think we need internal resilience as much as we need external resilience.

Also, I have developed a way groups can work together with less friction and more creativity, more focus and less wasted time and energy. I can demonstrate it with any Transition group interested in alternative models of organization based non-hierarchical collective intelligence with constant movement toward a defined goal.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
When I was seven I thought the world would run out of oil someday. That was about when M. King Hubbard was testifying to Congress about peak oil. I've lived an alternative/low impact life. Making the shift the Transition movement is focused on is the most important thing we as a species can do, and we have to do it or the consequences will be way bad. I'm attracted because the TI approach matches my own - many opportunities exist, and if we do what we can we can do the job. Or else the universe has a very dark sense of humor, which I don't really believe.
Do you have particular interests, skills, talents or resources you would like to bring to Transition Whatcom?

Hi Daimon! Thank you for your offerings at one of our Heart & Soul group!

I appreciate what you shared on your concept of the "Open Question Circle".
If you have a website link, I would try to remember to refer to it.
(I often forget the other wording used by R.Brystom – the “Question Driven Sequey'.)

I've drafted a rough blog, titled "Visioning & Creating Community Pathways - An Invitation" on our TWI ning site at-
    http://transitionwhatcom.ning.com/profiles/blogs/visioning-amp-crea...

I don't recall the exact wording of the 'Open Question Circle' question you shared that we resonated with, but from that inspiration, I drafted this 'Open-Question & Sharing' on the blog:
How can humans create satisfying lives, while at the same time, the earth's biodiversity & beauty grows increasingly vibrant, and we share the abundance in our lives with each other?
I hope you & your family are well, and may you enjoy the winter holidays and the earth's far reaching solstice tilt!

Sorry about the name flub and thanks for the patient replies. They were good ones, generally, and have stimulated some additional - and perhaps clearer - thought on my part.
